My Great Grandmother Betty has a friend she has known since they were both very young, Peggy. Peggy has an immaculate home. She also calls every single day and complains about many things. Mostly her neighbors. She says they’re watching her. That they know when she goes to sleep. That they do things to bother her. She’s crazy and paranoid and all alone. Betty has her own brand of crazy. She’s a hoarder and she’s in denial. She has no perception of time, she does the same things every week. She has more Christmas crap and decorations than the average person but she never gets around to putting them up. Such a sweet lady. Sometimes.

Every day when my Grandma Betty gets off the phone with Peggy she complains to us about her, and tells us about all her sad insane thoughts. And she does this to make herself seem more there for her age than the average 87 year old, because she knows we think she’s crazy. Its so gross. I hate when people try and make themselves look better by putting other people down. Especially when she’s using information that was given to her in trust to do it. It makes me sick. If I ever catch myself doing such a thing I’m moving far far away to think about things.

But wait.. Look what I’m doing.

do i still post it?
